Viajar
en transporte público puede ser una buena experiencia para observar un poco más
la ciudad, en estos seis breves puntos; te describimos algo de lo que puedes
encontrar.
Limpieza:
te puedes topar desde unidades muy limpias que huelen a pino, hasta a las que
les hace falta que le remplacen los aromatizantes. La limpieza de las unidades
depende del chofer o del dueño de la unidad. También es bueno fijarte en el
asiento antes de sentarte para evitar sorpresas. Es recomendable que no olvides
traer un paquete de pañuelos desechables y tu gel antibacterial.
Velocidad:
la velocidad a la que manejan los conductores del transporte varia en relación
al tiempo, pueden ir o muy rápido o muy lento; y a velocidad normal. Así que,
si te toca subirte a un autobús y vas de pie y este va muy rápido, sostente muy
bien de los tubos.
A
veces pareciera que las unidades van compitiendo entre sí pero esto, tiene una
explicación económica de fondo, que te ayudara a entender el porqué manejan
así. Para empezar no todos los choferes son dueños de la unidad, muchos pagan
una renta por usarla y solo tienen un tiempo determinado para reunir el pago de
la renta de la unidad y lo que sería su sueldo, es decir, entre más vueltas en
menos tiempo les resulta más beneficio.
Ruido
o sonido de ambiente: en las unidades de transporte es común encontrar que el conductor
lleve música. El volumen puede ser de muy alto a moderado.
Actitud
del chofer u operador de la unidad: la actitud del conductor depende de cómo lo
haya ido en el día, pero siempre es bueno que al subir al transporte digas
“Buenos días” y ‘’Gracias’’ al bajar, esto le cambia un poco la actitud y el
día.
Paradas:
aunque las paradas estén establecidas, las unidades de transporte pueden subir
y bajar al pasaje en donde este les indique. Algunos autobuses no tiene el
timbre para indicar la parada, por lo que, tienes que decirle con anticipación
en donde bajas o si no te escucha gritar el clásico “Bajan”.
Personas:
puedes toparte con músicos callejeros o trovadores urbanos, artistas urbanos
como payasitos o cantantes, a veces gente que vende dulces y personas que hacen
colectas para causas altruistas.
Si eres de esos viajeros, a los que les gusta experimentar
de manera más local una cuidad, no dudes en subirte al transporte público, al
menos aunque sea unas cuantas cuadras.
Quien sabe y encuentres algunas similitudes, o grandes
diferencias del transporte de tu ciudad o de los lugares que has visitado.
